GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1-     By placing an order with Z Collection, you accept our terms and conditions.

 

2-     All orders are accepted subject to our ability to deliver at the time and in the quantities specified and contingent upon strikes, disasters, floods, fire, accidents, labor and material shortages and other causes beyond our control, and at the currently published prices unless specifically noted. After an order has been accepted by us and acknowledged, it cannot be canceled without our consent. 

 

3-     Variations of color and shades of color are inherent in all red clay materials and natural stone.

 

4-     No claims with respect to color or shade of color will be allowed after installation. 

 

5-     All goods are carefully packed and inspected and delivered to the carrier in good condition. Breakage, loss in transit, delays in delivery and any other claims which are beyond our control, must be made to the carrier.

 

6-     No claims are accepted after 15 days from pickup or delivery.

 

7-     We reserve the right at any time before shipment to require evidence of the buyer’s financial responsibility and, if not furnished or if unacceptable to seller, the material ordered may be shipped on a cash basis. 


8-     Should the buyer default here under and an action be brought by Z Collection against buyer, prevailing party shall receive all costs and attorneys’ fees.

 

9-     All prices are subject to change without notice.

 

10-  All overdue accounts will be subject to a 1.5% monthly service charge on the unpaid balance.

 

11-  As a service to our customers, we can keep orders in will call for 90 days from ready date (ship date) without storage fees. On the 91st day, monthly storage will be charged at the rate of $25 per order. If your order remains in will call after 180 days, you will be notified regarding a pick-up deadline for the order. Any orders not picked up by the deadline will be considered abandoned and Z Collection is not responsible for loss or damage.

 

12-   In case of an error on our part, the fastest expedited shipment option will be UPS 2 Day air or Reddaway 2 day expedited service. 

 

13-  We offer a Net 30 Term package for qualifying customers. If a non-stocking order is left at our warehouse for 15 days, Z Collection payment terms begins at the 15th day.

 

14-  Free samples are swatches that are smaller than 12” on the longest side and lighter than 5lbs. 

 

15-  Full size samples can be ordered at 50% of your cost and shipped out to any address at just $5/sample.

 

16-  On custom orders 50% deposit must be received to start manufacturing. Written approval of the control sample is required for all custom orders.

 

17-  Custom orders are non-cancellable after receipt of deposit and deposits are non-refundable.

 

18-  Cancellation & Return Policy: Not all products and orders are eligible to return or cancellation. Cancellations and returns may result in restocking fees and additional freight charges. Please read carefully to find out if your order is eligible for cancellation or return. Promo items are non-cancellable.

 

A.     STONE ESSENTIALS & GENERATION Z (NATURAL STONE STOCK ITEMS)
Product in original, saleable condition can be returned for credit with no restocking fee subject to the following:
• Mosaics and moldings must be in original, unopened packaging to qualify for credit.
• Field tile must be in original, undamaged condition to qualify for credit.
• All return requests must be made within 30 days of order date.
• All returns must be accompanied by a Z Collection-issued Return Authorization (RA) and received on or before the RA expiration date. Please contact our order desk prior to returning product to receive an RA.
• Recovery fee is waived for items returned directly to our will call desk. If material pick up is needed, please inquire with order desk as to availability and rates.

 

B.     BERKELEY COLLECTION (PORCELAIN, CERAMIC AND GLASS)
Product in original, saleable condition can be returned for credit with a 30% restocking fee subject to the following:
• Items must be in original condition and unopened packaging to qualify for credit. Loose tiles are not eligible for return.
• All return requests must be made within 30 days of order date.
• Only full box quantities are eligible for return due to overage.
• All returns must be accompanied by a Z Collection-issued Return Authorization (RA) and received on or before the RA expiration date. Please contact our order desk prior to returning product to receive an RA.
• Recovery fee is waived for items returned directly to our will call desk. If material pick up is needed, please inquire with order desk as to availability and rates.
• Return freight fee will be applied and is based on material weight. 
• 30% restocking fee will be applied to all ceramic, porcelain and glass returns not due to supplier error.

 

C.     SPECIAL ORDER AND CUSTOM PRODUCTS
Special order and custom products are not eligible for return. This includes but is not limited to:
• California Rocks (special order natural stone)
• Gio Collection (special order waterjet mosaics)


Please note that receipt of a return authorization is not a guarantee of credit. Upon inspection of the material, Z Collection reserves the right to refuse and forfeit credit for any return that does not meet the above criteria. Shade Variations are an inherent characteristic of natural stone and ceramic tile and warranties against this are excluded. It is the responsibility of the customer to inspect and approve materials prior to installation. No adjustments whatsoever will be made for variation or defect after the product has been installed.
